Job summary

Decision Management Consultants LLC in Dubai seeks a Development Support Lead TEKLA with 8+ years in Tekla Structures for the oil & gas sector. You will define standards, lead Tekla support teams, and drive BIM integration across engineering and fabrication.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Engineering (Mandatory).
• Minimum 8 years of experience in Tekla Structures development and structural steel engineering.
• Proven track record of leading Tekla support and development teams in a structural steel environment.
• Expertise in Tekla Open API (C#) and custom plugin development.
• Extensive knowledge of steel fabrication practices international detailing codes and structural design standards.
• Strong understanding of BIM workflows model coordination clash detection and multi-discipline integration.
• Familiarity with platforms such as Revit Navisworks Trimble Connect and SQL databases is an advantage.

Responsibilities

• Define and enforce technical standards development protocols and QA/QC procedures for all Tekla-related deliverables.
• Serve as the key technical liaison between the technical office engineering fabrication and construction teams.
• Participate in strategic planning to improve BIM and Tekla integration across the organization.
• Lead and contribute to the design development and maintenance of custom Tekla tools plugins components and automated workflows using Tekla Open API (C#).
• Guide the implementation of parametric components custom templates intelligent drawings and automated reporting features.
• Oversee the integration of Tekla with ERP MIS CNC fabrication systems and other digital platforms.
• Organize and conduct internal training sessions and workshops on advanced Tekla and steel detailing workflows.
