Job summary

Tanqeeb is seeking a Tekla Structural Steel Detailer / Civil or Mechanical Engineer for our Dubai operations. The role focuses on creating precise 3D steel models and related drawings, coordinating with engineers and fabrication teams to ensure compliance with project standards.

The candidate should have 5–10 years of structural detailing experience and strong Tekla Structures proficiency. AutoCAD familiarity is a plus, with UAE/GCC project exposure considered advantageous.

• 5–10 years of professional experience in structural steel detailing.
• Proven expertise using Tekla Structures.

Responsibilities

• Create and develop accurate 3D structural steel models using Tekla Structures
• Prepare detailed shop, fabrication and erection drawings
• Develop GA, assembly and individual part drawings
• Generate BOMs, MTOs, material lists and other fabrication documents.
• Detail steel connections, plates, bolts and welding requirements
• Review engineering drawings and identify discrepancies
• Coordinate with engineers, fabrication and site teams
• Revise models and drawings according to project requirements and comments
• Ensure drawings meet project specifications and fabrication standards
• Maintain accuracy, quality and proper revision control

Position: Tekla Structural Steel Detailer / Civil or Mechanical Engineer

Location: Dubai, UAE

Working Hours: 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM

Working days: Sunday – Friday Half Day , Saturday Off

Employment Type: Full-Time

Salary: AED Negotiable / Based on Experience

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES

• Create and develop accurate 3D structural steel models using Tekla Structures

• Prepare detailed shop, fabrication and erection drawings

Desired Candidate Profile

• Engineering degree/diploma in Civil, Structural, Mechanical Engineering, or related field

• 5–10 years of professional experience in structural steel detailing

• Strong and proven experience using Tekla Structures

• Experience in structural steel modeling and detailing

• Ability to prepare shop drawings, fabrication drawings, GA drawings, assembly drawings and erection drawings

• Strong knowledge of steel connections, plates, bolts, welding and fabrication requirements

• Ability to read and interpret structural and architectural drawings

• Experience preparing BOM, MTO, material lists and fabrication details

• Knowledge of steel fabrication and erection processes

• AutoCAD experience is an advantage

• Ability to work independently and coordinate with engineers, fabricators and project teams

• Strong attention to detail and accuracy

• UAE/GCC project experience is an advantage
