IAN Sustainable Solutions in Dubai seeks a skilled Solar PV & Energy Storage Technician with 3+ years of UAE EPC installation and maintenance experience. You will install, test, commission, and maintain solar and battery storage systems, while strictly following HSE protocols and UAE safety standards.

The role requires a diploma or technical certification in electrical disciplines, plus hands-on experience with DEWA requirements and EPC projects.

Formación

• Diploma/Technical Certification in Electrical Engineering, Electrical Technology, Renewable Energy, or related discipline.
• Minimum 3 years hands-on Solar PV EPC installation and O&M experience in UAE, including C&I projects.
• Experience with Solar PV or Energy Storage EPC companies is mandatory.
• Proficient in solar PV installation, DC/AC wiring, inverter connections, electrical testing, troubleshooting, reading electrical drawings; BESS experience is a plus.
• HSE knowledge: electrical safety, working at heights, LOTO, PPE, risk assessments, safe battery handling.
• Familiarity with DEWA standards and UAE electrical installation requirements.

Responsabilidades

• Install solar PV and storage systems: panels, mounting structures, inverters, battery storage, DC/AC cabling, electrical equipment.
• Support electrical testing, troubleshooting, system commissioning, and project handover under supervision.
• Perform preventive and corrective maintenance, fault diagnosis, and system inspections.
• Adhere to site safety procedures, including LOTO, PPE, and battery safety.
• Ensure installations comply with approved drawings, manufacturer specs, and UAE safety standards.
• Coordinate with Site Engineers and project teams to complete installations safely and on schedule.
• Possess a Diploma/Technical certificate in Electrical/Energy fields and maintain safety certifications.

IAN is seeking a skilled, experienced, and safety-conscious Solar PV & Energy Storage Technician with proven hands‑on experience in solar and battery storage installations, testing, commissioning, and maintenance.

Key Responsibilities

• Solar PV & Storage Installation: Install solar panels, mounting structures, inverters, battery storage systems, DC/AC cabling, and associated electrical equipment.
• Testing & Commissioning: Support electrical testing, troubleshooting, system commissioning, and project handover under engineering supervision.
• Operations & Maintenance: Perform preventive and corrective maintenance, fault diagnosis, repairs, and system inspections.
• Health, Safety & Environment (HSE): Strictly follow site safety procedures, including working at heights, fall protection, electrical isolation, Lockout/Tagout (LOTO), PPE, and battery safety.
• Quality & Compliance: Ensure installations comply with approved drawings, manufacturer specifications, DEWA requirements, and applicable UAE safety standards.
• Site Coordination: Work closely with Site Engineers and project teams to complete installations safely, efficiently, and on schedule.
• Education: Diploma or Technical Certification in Electrical Engineering, Electrical Technology, Renewable Energy, or a related discipline.
• Industry Experience (Mandatory): Minimum 3 years of hands‑on Solar PV EPC installation and O&M experience in the UAE, including Commercial & Industrial (C&I) projects.
• Relevant Background: Previous employment with a Solar PV or Energy Storage EPC company is mandatory.
• Technical Skills: Proficient in solar PV installation, DC/AC wiring, inverter connections, electrical testing, troubleshooting, and reading electrical drawings. Practical BESS experience is highly desirable.
• HSE Competence (Mandatory): Working knowledge of electrical safety, working at heights, LOTO, PPE, risk assessments, and safe handling of batteries. Relevant HSE certifications are an advantage.
• Regulatory Knowledge: Familiarity with DEWA standards and UAE electrical installation requirements.
• Professional Skills: Reliable, safety-conscious, physically capable of site work, and able to work effectively within a project team.
• UAE Driving Licence: An advantage.
• Fixed monthly salary based on qualifications and experience.
