Job summary

Eaton in Dubai seeks a Technical Support Engineer & Application Engineer for the Emergency Lighting team. You will provide high-level technical support, troubleshoot systems, deliver demonstrations, and collaborate with sales to tailor solutions.

Requirements include a degree in engineering and 7+ years in techno-commercial roles, with hands-on knowledge of emergency lighting, AutoCAD or Dialux, and strong communication skills. Hybrid work model offered.

Qualifications

• Graduate Engineering Degree - Ideally Electrical, Mechanical, or Industrial.
• Minimum 7 years of techno‑commercial experience, including extensive knowledge of Emergency Lighting Systems and applications

Responsibilities

• Provide technical support, troubleshoot systems and expertise to customers and internal teams regarding emergency lighting products and solutions.
• Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues related to emergency lighting systems.
• Conduct product demonstrations, training sessions, and technical presentations for customers and partners.
• Collaborate with the sales team to understand customer requirements and provide technical solutions.
• Assist in the development and maintenance of technical documentation, including manuals, guides, and FAQs.
• Stay up‑to‑date with industry trends, product developments, and emerging technologies in emergency lighting.
• Ensure compliance with local regulations and standards for emergency lighting systems.
• Provide feedback to the product development team based on customer interactions and technical issues.
