Job summary

Eaton in Dubai seeks a Technical Support Engineer & Application Engineer to join our Emergency Lighting team. You will deliver technical support, troubleshoot complex lighting systems, and provide solutions to customers and partners, ensuring high satisfaction.

You will conduct product demonstrations and trainings, work with sales to capture requirements, and help maintain technical documentation while staying current with industry standards and local regulations in the Middle East.

Qualifications

• Graduate engineering degree in electrical, mechanical or industrial fields.
• Minimum 7 years techno-commercial experience in emergency lighting systems.
• Proficiency with AutoCAD and Dialux for lighting design.

Responsibilities

• Provide technical support and troubleshoot emergency lighting systems for customers and internal teams.
• Conduct product demonstrations, trainings and technical presentations.
• Collaborate with sales to understand customer requirements and provide technical solutions.
• Assist in developing and maintaining technical documentation.

We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Technical Support Engineer & Application Engineer to join our Emergency Lighting team in the Middle East. The successful candidate will provide technical support, troubleshooting, and solutions to our customers, ensuring the highest level of customer satisfaction.

What you’ll do:

• Provide technical support , trouble shoot systems and expertise to customers and internal teams regarding emergency lighting products and solutions.
• Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues related to emergency lighting systems.
• Conduct product demonstrations, training sessions, and technical presentations for customers and partners.
• Collaborate with the sales team to understand customer requirements and provide technical solutions.
• Assist in the development and maintenance of technical documentation, including manuals, guides, and FAQs.
• Stay up-to-date with industry trends, product developments, and emerging technologies in emergency lighting.
• Ensure compliance with local regulations and standards for emergency lighting systems.
• Provide feedback to the product development team based on customer interactions and technical issues.

Qualifications:

• Graduate Engineering Degree - Ideally Electrical, Mechanical, or Industrial.
• Minimum 7 years of techno-commercial experience, including extensive knowledge of Emergency Lighting Systems and applications

Skills:

• Technical knowledge in Emergency Lighting or Safety Systems is required
• Basic knowledge in AutoCAD and lighting design software Dialux
• Experience in Troubleshooting Systems, Testing& Commissioning, Managing Sites
• Fire alarm system experience is a strong plus
• Strong Communication and Presentation skills
• Electrical products instrumentation knowledge
• PC literate
