Job summary

Viessmann Middle East is seeking an experienced Technical Service Engineer – Boilers to join our Field Service team in the UAE. You will provide technical support to customers, contractors, installers, and partners, performing troubleshooting, commissioning, maintenance, repairs, warranty support and related training.

You will work in a customer-facing role, traveling across the UAE, diagnosing issues, starting up systems, and ensuring safe, high-quality service in line with Viessmann standards.

Qualifications

• Technical vocational qualification or equivalent.
• Minimum 5 years of field service, commissioning, maintenance or technical support experience.
• Experience with boilers and hot water systems; steam boilers and heat pumps preferred.
• Valid UAE driving license.
• Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and schematics.

Responsibilities

• Provide technical support remotely and on-site to customers, contractors, installers and partners.
• Diagnose issues and perform troubleshooting to ensure timely resolution.
• Carry out start-up, commissioning, testing and handover of installed systems.

About The Role

Viessmann Middle East is looking for an experienced Technical Service Engineer – Boilers to join our Technical Service team in the UAE.

In this role, you will act as a technical representative of Viessmann in the field, providing professional technical support to customers, contractors, installers, service partners, and other stakeholders. You will be responsible for troubleshooting, commissioning, maintenance, repairs, warranty support, and technical training related to our heating and hot water solutions.

The position requires a strong customer-service mindset, solid technical expertise, and the ability to work independently in customer-facing environments.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide technical support and advisory services to customers, contractors, installers, consultants, and service partners, both remotely and on-site.
• Respond to service requests, diagnose technical issues, and perform troubleshooting to ensure timely and effective resolution.
• Carry out start-up, commissioning, testing, and handover of installed systems in accordance with Viessmann standards, technical specifications, and procedures.
• Perform service, repair, preventive maintenance, inspection, and troubleshooting activities while maintaining required quality and safety standards.
• Manage warranty cases and related service activities in accordance with company policies and processes.
• Prepare accurate service documentation, including site visit reports, commissioning records, service reports, and other technical documentation through the designated Service Portal.
• Develop and deliver technical training and practical field training for contractors, installers, service partners, and customers.
• Support the preparation and follow-up of spare parts quotations, service proposals, and maintenance offerings.
• Participate in standby and emergency-response rotations, including weekend and after-hours support when required.
• Maintain company tools, equipment, and vehicles in a safe, professional, and operational condition.
• Continuously develop technical knowledge and expertise through internal and external training and self-development initiatives.
• Support continuous improvement initiatives and contribute to operational excellence within the Technical Service function.
• Perform additional duties and special assignments as required to support business operations and customer satisfaction.

Purpose of the Position

The Technical Service Engineer is responsible for ensuring reliable, professional, and timely technical support for customers while contributing to high levels of customer satisfaction and long-term business relationships.

The role supports the successful installation, commissioning, operation, and maintenance of Viessmann products and solutions throughout their lifecycle.

As a field-based technical representative, the position ensures that service activities are carried out in accordance with company quality, safety, technical, and service standards.

Minimum Qualifications & Experience

Education & Technical Experience

• Technical vocational qualification, diploma, or equivalent technical education.
• Minimum 5 years of relevant experience in field service, commissioning, maintenance, or technical support within the heating, hot water, or boiler industry.
• Proven hands-on experience diagnosing, troubleshooting, commissioning, maintaining, and repairing technical heating and hot water systems in customer-facing environments.
• Experience with boilers and hot water systems is required.
• Experience with steam boilers and heat pump systems is highly preferred.
• Ability to read and interpret technical drawings, wiring diagrams, schematics, and product documentation.
• Experience working directly with contractors, installers, consultants, service partners, and end users.
• Valid UAE driving license.
