Job summary

Viega UAE in Dubai is seeking a Manager – Technical & Training Consultant to build regional technical capability and product expertise. The role will begin in UAE & KSA, with expansion to APAC, leveraging strong presentation skills and industry knowledge.

The candidate will design and deliver structured training programs for sales teams, dealers, distributors, plumbers, and consultants, lead trainer initiatives, and support market expansion across MEA and India.

Qualifications

• Degree in Engineering or equivalent technical field.
• 6–8 years in technical training and capability building.
• Experience with plumbing brands, building materials, or MEP solutions.
• Excellent presentation and communication skills.
• Willingness to travel extensively.

Responsibilities

• Design and execute structured technical training programs for sales teams, dealers, distributors, plumbers, contractors, and consultants.
• Conduct classroom, on-site, and demonstration-based training sessions.
• Develop technical training modules, presentations, videos, and manuals.

Role

The Manager – Training & Technical Consultant is responsible for building technical capability and product expertise across the region. To begin with individual with start with Middle East (UAE & KSA) & India and later to be expanded across APAC regions.

We are looking for a talented professional from the plumbing industry with strong technical expertise, a passion for training, and excellent public speaking skills. The candidate should be willing to travel extensively across the region and effectively engage customers, consultants, contractors, and channel partners through technical presentations and training programs.

Objectives Of The Job

• Builds technical specification and training capability across the region.
• Manages codes & standards, market seminars, technical consulting activities external and internal.
• “Train the Trainer” lead for country trainers, building strong technical competence and capability.
• Develop technical white paper and strong value selling documents in collaboration with regional and global PM.
• This will be an individual contributor role. This role ensures strong product knowledge, application expertise, and on-site best practices to strengthen brand positioning and increase market penetration in the plumbing segment.

Technical Training & Capability Development

Design And Execute Structured Technical Training Programs For

Sales Support & Business Development

• Support sales team with technical presentations during key customer meetings.
• Assist in product demonstrations and technical discussions at project sites.
• Provide pre-sales and post-sales technical assistance.
• Collaborate with sales team to convert specifications into business.

Product & Application Expertise

• Ensure deep understanding of plumbing systems.
• Train stakeholders on installation best practices and troubleshooting.
• Collect market feedback on product performance and competitor activities.
• Support new product launches through technical roadshows and training drives.

Performance & Reporting

• Track training effectiveness and coverage.
• Maintain database of trained personnel.
• Provide periodic reports on training activities and impact on sales.

Education / Experiences /skills / Competencies Required

• Degree in Engineering or a comparable technical field.
• Several years of leadership experience preferably in plumbing, piping systems, or building materials industry & Minimum 6–8 years in technical training & Capability Building.
• Experience working with plumbing brands, building material companies, or MEP solutions providers.
• Exposure to project sales and contractor engagement.
• Excellent presentation and communication skills.
• Ability to conduct hands‑on demonstrations.
• Sales-oriented mindset.
• Stakeholder management.
• Willingness to travel extensively.
