Job summary

Siemens Energy in the United Arab Emirates is seeking a Technical Engineering Team Lead to drive organizational reorganization within GS ME Sales Distributed, providing leadership to the technical engineering team and ensuring alignment with regional objectives.

You will mentor engineers, design onboarding, manage technical interfaces with PCC Application Engineers, collaborate with sales operations and regional teams, review scope of proposals, and support outage planning and M&U

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or a closely related technical field.
• 6 to 8 years of experience in gas services, power generation, or technical sales engineering.
• At least 2 years in a leadership or team lead capacity.
• Experience managing technical interfaces, outage planning, and modernization projects in the Middle East.
• PMP or CM/RP or equivalent certification.
• Expertise in team leadership, onboarding and training, and performance management.
• Expertise in gas turbine and power generation technology, outage planning and M/U integration, and risk assessment.
• Strong cross-functional stakeholder management and SPOC capability.

Responsibilities

• Lead and mentor the technical engineering team within the Sales Distributed division.
• Design and deliver onboarding and training for new engineers.
• Act as SPOC for technical queries and coordinate interfaces with PCC Application Engineers.
• Collaborate with sales operations and regional teams to align technical offerings with customer requirements.
• Review proposals' technical scope across service lines for accuracy and feasibility.
• Analyze post-outage reports to capture lessons learned and support outage planning and M/U integration.
