Job summary

GE Vernova in Dubai, United Arab Emirates seeks a Lead Product Service Engineer for Turbine Controls & Operability to provide direct technical support to global gas power customers across three primary workstreams.

The role requires leading complex RCAs, coordinating with cross-functional teams, and delivering timely technical resolutions while applying GE Vernova methodologies. Proficiency in English is required; Arabic skills are a plus, with travel about 10–15% within and outside the region.

Qualifications

Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in engineering from an accredited university.
Minimum 5 years of direct experience in controls/operations/engineering/ installation of Gas Turbines/Steam Turbines.
Proven experience in a customer-facing or engineering role.
Strong oral and written communication in English (Arabic beneficial).

Responsibilities

Own the technical resolution to complex Controls system issues including Gas Turbine and Steam Controls & Operability.
Identify trending issues and provide countermeasures; communicate to relevant audience.
Collaborate with Design Engineering, Product Management, Regional Centers, Manufacturing, Sourcing, Vendors, and Customers for timely resolutions.
Drive RCAs through root cause analysis and corrective actions; communicate with field teams and leadership.
Promote GE Vernova Way traits, lean principles, and simplification in daily activities.
