Job summary

Trimble Inc. in Dubai, UAE, is seeking a Technical Support Engineer to empower structural engineers with Tekla Structures and BIM workflows across the Middle East.

You will serve as a trusted technical advisor, solving interoperability challenges and accelerating digital construction adoption. In this role, you will deliver technical training, onboarding, and workshops for regional partners, translating feedback into future software enhancements.

Qualifications

• Degree in Civil/Structural Engineering or related technical discipline.
• Minimum 3 years of Tekla Structures or similar BIM software experience.
• Excellent English written and verbal communication skills for diverse regional stakeholders.
• Strong background in structural modeling, detailing, construction workflows, and technical problem-solving.

In this role, you will serve as a trusted technical advisor across the Middle East, directly influencing how leading engineering and construction firms adopt advanced BIM workflows with Tekla Structures. You will bridge technical expertise and customer success, empowering regional partners to deliver complex structural projects with speed, precision, and efficiency.

Key Exciting Responsibilities

• Resolve complex technical and interoperability challenges for Tekla Structures, driving resolution for high-impact regional projects.


• Deliver engaging technical training, onboarding programs, and specialized workshops to help customers maximize their digital construction capabilities.


• Advise customers on industry best practices for structural modeling, steel and concrete detailing, fabrication, and BIM collaboration.


• Partner with global Trimble development and product teams to translate customer feedback into future software enhancements and preventative solutions.

Essential Skills & Experience

• Degree in Civil Engineering, Structural Engineering, Construction, Architecture, BIM, or a related technical discipline.


• Minimum 3 years of experience with Tekla Structures or comparable structural and BIM engineering software.


• Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English to support diverse regional stakeholders.


• Strong background in structural modeling, detailing, construction workflows, and technical problem-solving.

Bonus Points For

• Experience conducting technical training or consulting engagements in the Middle East region.


• Multilingual capabilities or familiarity with regional construction standards and practices.


• Ability to speak, read and write in Arabic would be highly preferred.
