Role Context
The Talent Acquisition Specialist supports business growth by ensuring critical roles are filled with candidates whose capabilities and experience match operational requirements. The position manages the complete recruitment lifecycle while working closely with line managers, Human Resources Business Partners, and business stakeholders. Strong sourcing judgement, market awareness, structured assessment, and disciplined process management are essential to maintaining hiring quality, meeting recruitment timelines, and building sustainable talent pipelines.
Key Responsibilities
- Partner with business units and Human Resources Business Partners during manpower planning and recruitment scheduling.
- Contribute to hiring plans for different brands and business divisions based on approved workforce requirements and budgets.
- Meet with line managers to understand vacancy requirements, role priorities, candidate profiles, and recruitment timelines.
- Manage the complete recruitment cycle covering attraction, sourcing, screening, interviewing, selection, offer management, and onboarding coordination.
- Build proactive candidate pipelines and talent pools for recurring, specialist, and difficult-to-fill positions.
- Source candidates through career websites, professional networks, social media, job boards, LinkedIn, direct headhunting, and market referrals.
- Conduct market mapping to provide hiring managers with current intelligence on candidate availability, competitor organizations, compensation trends, and talent movement.
- Advise managers on appropriate interviewing and assessment methods to support effective and merit-based selection decisions.
- Conduct structured interviews and evaluate candidate suitability against technical, behavioral, and business requirements.
- Plan and coordinate assessment centres, recruitment open days, and high-volume hiring campaigns when required.
- Maintain accurate records of candidate assessments, interview outcomes, hiring decisions, and recruitment activity.
- Ensure recruitment stages are completed within agreed service levels and required time frames.
- Complete reference checks and other required pre-employment verification before final candidate selection.
- Prepare and manage employment offers within approved manpower budgets and internal total rewards policies.
- Monitor offer acceptance rates, recruitment progress, sourcing effectiveness, and vacancy fulfillment.
- Support hiring managers in managing candidate expectations and maintaining a professional recruitment experience.
- Ensure recruitment activity follows organizational policy, internal approval processes, and applicable local employment regulations.
- Maintain accurate applicant tracking system records and ensure candidate status information remains current.
- Collaborate with HR colleagues across different business units to coordinate complex or multi-stakeholder recruitment requirements.
Ideal Profile
- Bachelor 's degree in Human Resources, Business, or another relevant professional discipline is preferred.
- Minimum 3 years of recruitment or candidate sourcing experience.
- In-house talent acquisition experience is preferred.
- Experience working in a large matrix organization is advantageous.
- Proven ability to manage multiple hiring managers, Human Resources Business Partners, and competing recruitment priorities.
- Experience recruiting high-volume, specialist, or niche positions.
- Strong interviewing and candidate assessment capability.
- Practical experience building candidate pipelines and talent pools.
- Ability to conduct detailed market mapping and competitor talent analysis.
- Experience using applicant tracking systems, preferably SuccessFactors.
- Familiarity with local labor laws and employment regulations is advantageous.
- Experience planning or supporting large-scale assessment centers is preferred.
- Strong problem-solving, analytical, communication, and stakeholder management skills.
- Collaborative working style with the ability to operate effectively across different functions and business units.
