Job summary

Bank of Jordan in Dubai seeks an experienced credit professional to manage syndicated finance tasks, perform financial modelling and support both origination and execution of large-scale loan deals.

You will analyze financial statements, review structures, and coordinate across departments to ensure timely approvals and post-closing follow-ups. Fluency in English and Arabic is required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or Business Administration.
• Minimum 5 years' experience in syndicated finance, structured finance, project finance or corporate banking.
• Demonstrated experience in origination, execution, underwriting and/or participation of syndicated loans.
• Understanding of primary and secondary syndicated loan markets.
• Strong knowledge of LMA documentation and closing mechanics.
• Experience with DFIs/ECAs or regional/international banks is desirable.
• Financial modelling and credit analysis skills.
• Understanding of credit risk, covenant analysis and portfolio management.
• Fluent English and Arabic (written and spoken).

Responsibilities

• Prepare transaction screening papers, credit appraisal reports, internal credit recommendations and approval memos for syndicated transactions.
• Support primary and secondary loan market activities including distribution strategy, pricing analysis and investor targeting.
• Conduct detailed financial statement analysis, financial model assessments, sensitivity analysis, scenario testing and cash flow forecasting.
• Review transaction structures including sources & uses, security and covenant packages.
• Review and comment on commercial financing documentation including term sheets and intercreditor arrangements.
• Perform borrower analysis using internal systems and coordinate with Credit Risk for rating validation.
• Assess transaction profitability using ROE, economic capital, pricing and portfolio metrics.
• Coordinate internal approvals across Credit, Legal, Compliance, Operations, Treasury and senior management.
• Monitor execution milestones through close, documentation and post-closing follow-ups.
• Monitor portfolio performance including covenant compliance and watchlist reporting.
• Prepare management reports covering pipeline, portfolio, profitability and market intelligence.
• Maintain transaction database and documentation warehousing.
• Conduct sector, macroeconomic and ESG research with proper citation.
