Job summary

Butler Rose in Dubai is seeking an experienced loan syndication professional for its corporate finance team. The role focuses on originating, structuring, executing and distributing syndicated loans and complex financing transactions across sectors.

You will bring deep experience in structured, leveraged and asset-backed lending, with strong credit analysis and the ability to manage multi-lender deals end to end, across the region, with ambitious leadership and momentum.

Job description

I have been exclusively mandated by a well established regional bank to identify an experienced loan syndication professional for its corporate finance team in Dubai.

This is a structured lending & syndications role with a strong emphasis on originating, structuring, executing and distributing, syndicated loans and complex financing transactions.

You will need deep experience in structured finance, leveraged finance and asset backed lending, bringing strong credit expertise and the ability to manage multi lender deals end to end.

The loan capital markets and syndication desk has gone from strength to strength over the last couple of years, regularly leading on domestic and regional transactions in its own right with global coverage for the right transactions.

This is a genuinely exciting time to join, with strong leadership in place and real momentum building.

Key responsibilities

• Originate, structure, execute and distribute syndicated loans across corporates, real estate and development financing


• Lead end to end deal execution, preparing information memoranda, coordinating with other banks, negotiating terms and managing documentation


• Bring expertise in structured finance, leveraged finance and asset backed lending, including cash flow analysis and credit structuring


• Assess creditworthiness, lead internal approval processes and ensure risk alignment


• Build pitchbooks and termsheets, and pitch and negotiate deals with clients, advisors and peer banks

Sector coverage

The desk is sector agnostic. Deals come in from real estate, energy, infrastructure and beyond. This role offers breadth across industries and geographies.

Who you are

• Strong background in syndicated lending, structured finance, leveraged finance or project finance


• Proven ability to originate, structure, execute and distribute syndicated loans and complex financings


• Deep credit analysis and structuring expertise


• GCC transaction exposure is highly preferred. Whether based on the ground in the UAE or wider GCC or London, Paris or other international locations.


• Experience in asset backed lending or financing


• Solid working knowledge of LMA documentation, used across loan syndication deals


• Product specialist, with the gravitas and confidence discussing deal mechanics and pricing directly with clients


• A high visibility role within a fast growing loan capital markets business
