Job summary

Sundus is seeking a Swimming Coach to join its Abu Dhabi team. The role focuses on teaching swimming strokes, starts, turns, and techniques, while ensuring safety and providing constructive feedback to swimmers of all levels.

Applicants should possess an ADQCC certificate, CPR/First Aid certification, and strong observation and communication skills. The candidate must remain calm in emergencies and be physically fit for lifeguard duties.

Qualifications

• ADQCC certificate - Mandatory; CPR and First Aid certification required (BLS preferred).

Responsibilities

Job Description

Strong swimming ability excellent knowledge of swimming strokes (freestyle, backstroke, breaststroke, butterfly), starts, turns, and techniques. Teaching skills ability to explain movements clearly and correct swimmers mistakes. Communication skills give instructions, encouragement, and feedback effectively. Safety awareness knowledge of water safety, rescue techniques, and emergency procedures. Patience and motivation help beginners, children, and advanced swimmers improve at their own pace. Fitness and training knowledge understand conditioning, endurance, strength, and flexibility exercises.
