Key Responsibilities

• Plan and deliver a progressive swimming curriculum aligned with school objectives
• Teach water safety, stroke mechanics, and conditioning for varied skill levels
• Track progress, set goals, and provide clear feedback to students and parents
• Organise and supervise swim meets, trials, and inter‑school competitions
• Maintain pool safety and compliance; perform risk assessments and equipment checks
• Coordinate with PE staff to integrate swimming into the broader sports program
• Keep current with coaching methods, safeguarding, and first aid standards
• Foster an inclusive, motivating team environment and positive sportsmanship

Ideal Profile

• Minimum 5 years of coaching experience in a school or club environment
