Job summary

Duserve Facility Management in Dubai is seeking an experienced Lifeguard to ensure public safety in pool areas of the facility. You will respond to emergencies, enforce rules, and assist visitors.

The ideal candidate holds a UAE or international Lifeguard certification, a valid First Aid certificate, and is physically fit. This role requires attentiveness, calmness in emergencies, and strong swimming ability.

Qualifications

• Must have higher secondary education.
• Certified Lifeguard from UAE or home country.

Responsibilities

• Rescue swimmers in danger and administer first aid when required.
• Caution swimmers regarding unsafe practices and safety hazards.
• Enforce pool rules and regulations of the building.
• Follow emergency plans and procedures in case of emergency.
• Maintain order around the pool and surrounding areas.
• Inspect facilities for cleanliness and perform pool maintenance.
• Responsible for emergency equipment availability and safekeeping.
• Provide information on pool operations to tenants and guests.
• Complete required paperwork and checklists.

Job description

The incumbent ensures the security and safety of the public. Adheres to all safety measure of tenants, visitors and other individuals and their enjoyment in swimming pool areas of the facility and carry out rescues as required.

ROLE AND RESPONSIBILITIES

• Rescue swimmers in danger of drowning. Administer first aid when required.
• Caution swimmers regarding unsafe practices and safety hazard
• Enforce and adhere to the building’s pool rules and regulations.
• Follow emergency plans and procedures established in the event of an emergency.
• Maintain order on the pool and surrounding areas.
• Inspect the facilities for cleanliness, complete general pool cleaning and maintenance duties.
• Responsible for the availability and safekeeping of emergency equipment.
• Provide general information on pool operations to tenants and guests.
• Complete required paperwork and checklists.

QUALIFICIATON

• Higher secondary education.
• Must be a certified Lifeguard awarded by a certified training institute in the UAE or home country.
• Must have a valid first aid certificate awarded by a certified training institute in the UAE or home country.
• Must be physically fit

CERTIFICATON

• Lifeguard certification.
• First Aid certification.

KNOWLEDGE, SKILL AND ABILITY

• Able to read, write and speak English.
• Knowledge of pool equipment & maintenance.
• Knowledge of lifesaving methods and procedures, including first aid and standard resuscitation measures.
• Knowledge of rules and regulations concerning usage of pool facilities.
• Skilled in application of lifesaving techniques.
• Skilled and qualified in swimming.
• Ability to act quickly and calmly in emergencies.
• Ability to perform rescue actions, administer first aid and CPR.

EXPERIENCE

• Minimum three (3) years extensive experience as a Lifeguard.
