Job summary

Black Pearl Consult in Abu Dhabi is seeking an Aquatics Program Manager to provide strategic and operational leadership for the Aquatics Department. You will drive program participation, utilization, retention, and revenue while upholding premium service standards and safety requirements.

You will mentor coaches and lifeguards, monitor feedback and insights, and ensure full compliance with pool safety and health regulations. Regional UAE experience is preferred.

Qualifications

• Minimum 5 years of experience in aquatics coaching.
• 2+ years leading an aquatics program and driving performance.
• 2+ years of experience in pool operations management.

The Aquatics Program Manager provides strategic andoperational leadership for the Aquatics Department. This role is responsiblefor driving program participation, utilization, retention, revenue, and overalldepartmental performance in line with premium service standards. The manageroversees the design and continuous improvement of learn-to-swim, recreational,developmental, and competitive pathways to ensure safe, progressive, andhigh-quality participant experiences. Additionally, this role mentors anddevelops swimming coaches and lifeguards, monitors customer feedback andoperational insights, and ensures full compliance with pool safety,safeguarding, and health standards.

Responsibilities:-

· Strategic & Operational Leadership: Take fullaccountability for the strategic direction, operational excellence, andcommercial growth of the Aquatics Program, including class occupancy, poolutilization, participant progression, and retention .

· Program Design & Execution: Design, implement,and continuously improve structured aquatics pathways covering learn-to-swim,recreational, developmental, and competitive levels .

· Team Development & Coaching: Inspire, lead, anddevelop the aquatics coaching team and lifeguards through regular lessonobservations, feedback, and structured training . Maintain coaching standards by activelydelivering sessions when required .

· Pool Safety & Operational Standards: Maintainstrict adherence to health and safety regulations, SOPs, safeguardingrequirements, pool safety procedures, water quality standards, riskassessments, and audit guidelines .

· Cross-Departmental Collaboration: Work closely withMembership, Marketing, and Experience teams to drive participant acquisition,coordinate swim competitions, holiday camps, school partnerships, and communityevents .

· Performance Monitoring: Utilize performanceinsights, data, and participant feedback to optimize program performance,increase secondary spend, and support overall business objectives .

Requirements

• Experience: Minimum 5 yearsof experience in aquatics coaching; minimum 2 years of experience leadingan aquatics program and driving performance within a swimming academy;minimum 2 years of experience in pool operations management.
• Certifications: RecognizedLevel 2 Swim Teaching certification (or equivalent); valid LifeguardLicense.
• Education: Bachelor’s degreein Physical Education, Sports Science, or a related disciplinepreferred.
• Regional Experience: Previousexperience in the UAE or GCC region preferred..
