Job summary

Power Mech Projects in the United Arab Emirates seeks an experienced Mechanical Foreman / Supervisor with 10–15 years' experience in installation, repair, testing, maintenance, and troubleshooting of mechanical equipment, preferably in Oil & Gas or Petrochemical.

The role requires supervising field activities, preparing JSA/FRA, obtaining permits, and ensuring HSE compliance, SAP records, and timely maintenance.

Qualifications

• BE or Diploma in Mechanical Engineering required.
• 10–15 years of mechanical maintenance experience.
• Oil & Gas or Petrochemical industry experience preferred.
• Experience with SAP maintenance software.
• Familiar with PTW, e‑WMS, JSA, FRA, LOTO.
• Knowledge of ADNOC HSE standards is preferred.
• Ability to use precision measuring and alignment tools.
• Fair knowledge of English.

Responsibilities

• Supervise installation, maintenance, repair, overhaul, and testing of mechanical equipment.
• Prepare and obtain work permits in accordance with Company HSE standards.
• Prepare Job Safety Analysis (JSA) and Formal Risk Assessment (FRA) covering job risks and mitigation measures.
• Perform skilled mechanical fault finding, diagnosis, and repair of defective equipment.
• Carry out routine, preventive, and predictive maintenance.
• Measure clearances and alignment using laser alignment tools, Vernier calipers, micrometers, and bore gauges.
• Carry out major equipment overhauls and check clearances and equipment condition.
• Report equipment condition and recommend part usage/replacement to the Company Engineer.
• Identify and arrange required spare parts, tools, and equipment.
• Perform the authorized role in the e-WMS system for PTW.
• Follow LOTO, material handling, and WMS requirements.
• Ensure safety and compliance with HSE guidelines.
• Maintain housekeeping at the worksite.
• Prepare daily activity reports and close work orders in SAP.
• Ensure full compliance with Company HSE guidelines, procedures, policies, and reporting requirements.

Job Summary

We are looking for an experienced Mechanical Foreman / Supervisor with 10-15 years of experience in the installation, repair, testing, maintenance, and troubleshooting of a wide range of mechanical equipment, preferably within the Oil & Gas or Petrochemical industry.

Key Responsibilities

• Supervise installation, maintenance, repair, overhaul, and testing of mechanical equipment.
• Prepare and obtain work permits in accordance with Company HSE standards.
• Prepare Job Safety Analysis (JSA) and Formal Risk Assessment (FRA) covering job risks and mitigation measures.
• Perform skilled mechanical fault finding, diagnosis, and repair of defective equipment.
• Carry out routine, preventive, and predictive maintenance of running equipment and machinery.
• Perform accurate measurements of clearances, tolerances, and alignment using precision tools such as laser alignment tools, Vernier calipers, micrometers, and bore gauges.
• Carry out major equipment overhauls and accurately check clearances and equipment condition.
• Report equipment condition and recommend part usage/replacement to the Company Engineer to ensure continuous equipment availability.
• Identify and arrange required spare parts, tools, and equipment for maintenance activities.
• Perform the authorized role in the e-WMS system for Permit to Work (PTW).
• Follow Lockout/Tagout (LOTO), material handling, and WMS requirements.
• Ensure the safety of staff and compliance with Company HSE requirements.
• Maintain proper housekeeping at the worksite.
• Prepare comprehensive daily activity reports covering faults, work performed, manpower, materials, and time taken.Maintain work records and close work orders in SAP, including failure history and relevant documentation.
• Ensure full compliance with Company HSE guidelines, procedures, policies, and reporting requirements.

Required Skills & Experience

• BE / Diploma in Mechanical Engineering.
• 10-15 years of relevant mechanical maintenance experience.
• Experience in installation, repair, testing, overhaul, and maintenance of mechanical equipment.
• Oil & Gas / Petrochemical industry experience is preferred.
• Hands‑on experience with mechanical troubleshooting and predictive/preventive maintenance.
• Knowledge of PTW, e‑WMS, JSA, FRA, LOTO, and WMS.
• Experience working with SAP maintenance software.
• Knowledge of ADNOC HSE standards is preferred.
• Ability to use precision measuring and alignment tools.
• Fair knowledge of English.
