Job summary

ADNOC Group is seeking a Mechanical Maintenance Technician to perform day-to-day maintenance on mechanical rotating and static equipment in the Abu Dhabi region. You will handle preventive, corrective, breakdown and predictive tasks according to work orders and safety procedures.

The role requires a Diploma in Mechanical Engineering and at least 5 years of Oil & Gas experience, with strong fault-finding and documentation skills in MAXIMO.

Qualifications

• Diploma in Mechanical Engineering or equivalent technical qualification.
• Minimum 5 years of experience in Oil & Gas.
• Experience with rotating and static mechanical equipment.

Responsibilities

• Receive work orders, review maintenance history and arrange spares.
• Obtain permits and certificates per procedures and HSE.
• Perform preventive, corrective, breakdown and predictive maintenance as per work orders.
• Inspect to determine repair extent and prepare reports.
• Monitor rotating equipment condition using visual checks and instruments.
• Troubleshoot faults with engineers and other disciplines.
• Carry out installations, modifications and testing per plan.
• Update maintenance records in MAXIMO.

Our Carbon Capture, Utilization, and Storage (CCUS) facility at Al Reyadah has the capacity to capture 800,000 tonnes of carbon dioxide (CO2) from Emirates Steel Industries (ESI) each year, for use in the Bab and Rumaitha oil fields to support Enhanced Oil Recovery (EOR). JOB PURPOSE

Carry out day to day Mechanical rotating and static maintenance activates in addition to corrective, overhaul and breakdown maintenance activates related to all Mechanical equipment in the assigned field / Area.

KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES

• Receive Work order from Mechanical Engineer, Review the equipment maintenance history and arrange the necessary consumables/spares/tools.
• Obtain the necessary work permits & certificates as per maintenance procedures and company HSE regulations,
• Carry out efficiently & safely all the assigned maintenance activities (Preventive, Corrective, Breakdown & Predictive) as per work order and standard maintenance procedures,
• Carry out the necessary inspection in order to determine the extent of repair required & prepare inspection, failure & overhaul reports accordingly.
• Monitor the condition of all rotating equipment Visually or using the relevant devices/systems within the area of responsibility.
• Investigate and troubleshoot the equipment & implement the fault -finding routine and procedures in consultation with Mechanical Engineers and other disciplines when required,
• Carry out new installations, modifications and testing of mechanical equipment through various stages as per plan and in line With the Engineer instructions,
• Participate in the major overhaul and shutdown maintenance activates as assigned by Engineer and identifies spares, special tools & tackles requirements to execute the activity.
• Update the maintenance records for all mechanical equipment as per MAXIMO relevant records, Prepare and maintain a variety of records, files, drawings, manual, datasheets, etc. related to the various maintenance activities in a well administrative manner,

Traininq

Provide on-the-job Training to meet Competency Based Training programs for UAE Nationalization. Tool Box

• Maintain all tools, safety gear and equipment provided by company safely and in working condition. Arrange for repair or replacement of any tools and safety gear that may not be in good working condition.
• Inform the Maintenance Supervisor in case additional resources are required to carry out the job within the assigned time frame.

Carry out all maintenance jobs in line with assigned time standards,

Contribute to the identification of areas and opportunities for continuous improvement in the operating procedures, modification of functional processes. machinery or equipment.

• Comply with relevant HSE policies, procedures & controls and applicable legislation and sustainability guidelines in line with international standards, best practices and ADNOC Code of Practices, o Participate in Emergency Response duties as a team member.

Reports

• Collect technical data from the field as required and provide inputs to prepare Section progress reports for Company Management.
• Provide input for the preparation of Method statements and initiate Near Miss reports.

COMMUNICATIONS & WORKING RELATIONSHIPS

• Internal o Regular contact with Mechanical Engineers, Electrical, Instrument & Control and Operations teams
