Job summary

ADNOC Group in Abu Dhabi is seeking an experienced Mechanical Supervisor – Equipment Maintenance to oversee maintenance of rotating and static equipment in a large oil and energy operation. You will supervise planning, execution, and commissioning, ensuring safety and reliability across the site.

The role requires 5+ years of supervision in mechanical maintenance within heavy industries, with strong knowledge of preventive, predictive, and breakdown maintenance.

Qualifications

• Diploma in Mechanical Engineering or equivalent technical qualification.
• Minimum 5 years of experience supervising mechanical maintenance in a large industrial setting.
• Experience in oil and gas maintenance environments preferred.
• Strong knowledge of rotating and static equipment and maintenance execution.
• Ability to lead field teams and manage safety and timelines.

Responsibilities

• Supervise maintenance, testing, troubleshooting, and commissioning of mechanical equipment.
• Plan, schedule, and monitor preventive, predictive, corrective, and breakdown maintenance.
• Ensure availability of manpower, parts, tools, and permits before jobs.
• Inspect work, track progress, and report on quality and status.
• Coordinate with contractors, vendors, and internal teams for cost-effective repairs.
• Update equipment history and maintenance records.
• Support safety toolbox talks and safe work practices.
