Ultimate Medical Academy seeks a Student Finance Advisor to support the financial aid process and student accounts. The role involves advising on completion of aid, collecting funds, and coordinating communications with students by email and phone, while ensuring compliance with policies.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Excellent customer service, written, and verbal communication skills
• Ability to work in a proactive student finance environment
• Computer and internet literacy
• Flexibility to work evenings and weekends as needed

Responsibilities

• Advise prospective students on completing the financial aid process
• Collect non-Title IV funds and advise continuing students on account balances
• Coordinate communications with students via email and phone
• Follow up on FAFSA and missing document renewals
• Manage externship and graduation clearance processes
• Review student default status and loan limits via NSLDS
• Reduce Average Accounts Receivable for assigned student populations
• Ensure compliance with Department of Education and internal UMA policies

Preferred Qualifications

• 2-3 years of accounting or finance experience
• Working knowledge of Title IV Regulations
