Position Summary

The Structural BIM Engineer will develop and manage detailed structural BIM models while supporting constructability, coordination, accuracy, and efficient digital delivery. The role places 3D modeling at the center of the workflow, with 2D plans, sections, reinforcement details, and other drawings produced primarily as supporting deliverables derived from coordinated models.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain detailed 3D structural models for pump stations, utility structures, bridges, tunnels, piers, abutments, decks, and reinforcement using Autodesk Revit.
• Implement automation and parametric workflows, including Dynamo, to improve modeling efficiency and accuracy.
• Coordinate structural BIM models with Civil, MEP, and Architectural disciplines.
• Perform model coordination and clash detection using Autodesk Navisworks, Revit, and related BIM workflows.
• Manage project models, data, and digital deliverables through Autodesk Construction Cloud or equivalent Common Data Environment platforms.
• Maintain compliance with ISO 19650 standards, BIM Execution Plans, client requirements, and applicable project procedures.
• Extract quantities, schedules, annotations, and other information directly from BIM models for documentation and reporting.
• Produce 2D plans, sections, reinforcement details, and related drawings as secondary outputs from the 3D model.
• Update structural models and associated deliverables in response to design revisions, RFIs, and engineering comments.
• Maintain large BIM models, Revit families, and standardized templates efficiently throughout project delivery.
