Job summary

Mumzworld is seeking a Strategic Vendor Manager to own and grow a portfolio of key vendor partnerships, driving revenue, margin and long-term value across the business. You will lead vendor strategy, JBPs, negotiations and performance management in collaboration with Category, Marketing, Supply Chain, Finance and Tech.

The ideal candidate should have 4–7 years in vendor/account/category management within e-commerce or marketplace environments, with strong commercial acumen and a GCC market

Qualifications

• 4–7 years of experience in vendor management, account management, category management, buying or similar commercial roles.
• Experience in e-commerce, retail, FMCG or marketplace environments; knowledge of GCC market is a strong advantage.
• Proven ability to manage and grow vendor or brand relationships; lead negotiations and joint business planning with cross-functional teams.

Responsibilities

• Own and manage a portfolio of strategic vendors; drive revenue and margin over the long term.
• Develop joint business plans (JBPs) with key vendors to set shared growth goals and track delivery.
• Monitor vendor performance against KPIs; conduct regular business reviews and address underperformance.
• Lead negotiations on pricing, margins, trading terms, promotions and marketing investment.
• Identify incremental revenue through vendor-funded initiatives and on-site marketing partnerships.
• Collaborate with Category, Marketing, Supply Chain, Finance and Tech to execute vendor strategies.
• Support campaigns, seasonal moments and major sale events with vendor alignment.
• Onboard new vendors and products; coordinate launches with internal teams.
• Analyze vendor data to identify trends and opportunities; present to stakeholders.
