Job summary

Prada Group in Dubai seeks a Retail Merchandiser to analyze market characteristics including fashion trends, competitor positioning, and customer profiles through regular store visits and feedback to the Central Retail Merchandiser.

You will collaborate with the Central Retail Merchandiser, Product Committee, and Visual Display teams to plan and execute the Master Order, budget sales, and ensure product presentation aligns with collection concepts across the assigned area.

Responsibilities

• Analyse the specific characteristics of the assigned market including fashion trends competitor positioning and customer profiles through regular visits to stores and continuous feedback to the relevant Central Retail Merchandiser
• Collaborate with the Central Retail Merchandiser and the Product Committee in preparing the Master Order for the assigned geographical area and product category following the collection guidelines and product selection criteria
• Collaborate with the Central Retail Merchandiser and the Controlling Department to prepare the sales budget for the assigned geographical area and product categories
• Maintain regular contact with key stores including frequent on-site visits to identify potential issues and update sales staff on product characteristics and relevant selling points
• Provide timely feedback to the Central Retail Merchandiser on customer responses to the collection including fit missing items and product or material defects
• Continuously monitor sales performance across the assigned geographical area using company reporting tools
• Maintain regular communication with Store Managers and Area Managers within the assigned geographical area to verify alignment between sales performance and stock levels
• Take prompt action in the event of deviations from targets deciding whether to adjust replenishment or transfer products between stores
• Coordinate continuously with Retail Sales Planning and Analysis in agreement with the Central Retail Merchandiser
• Participate in all Visual Merchandising activities including initial planning follow-up and any necessary replanning
• Collaborate with the Visual Display team during the product display planning phase to Continuously verify that the Visual Display in individual stores is aligned with sales objectives and the collection concept through regular store visits and timely feedback to the Fashion Coordinator or Central Retail Merchandiser
• Support the Visual Display team in preparing guidance materials for individual stores and Store Managers and monitor the correct implementation of seasonal guidelines
• Analyse the relationship between products displayed and products sold ensuring product rotation is consistent with the guidelines and providing continuous feedback to the Central Retail Merchandiser
• Implement product training activities for Sales Staff ensuring they remain consistently informed knowledgeable and motivated regarding the products
• Support and supervise team members in their daily activities providing guidance on work methods and timelines
