Responsibilities

• Negotiate favorable terms with suppliers for goods, services and supplies.
• Oversee procurement in support of customer-related processes and internal use.
• Discuss defects and delivery problems with suppliers and negotiate refunds.
• Coordinate with operations, maintenance, warehouse and engineering to schedule and move goods.
• Develop a more strategic procurement approach and drive value for money.
• Review and develop procurement processes and procedures and communicate changes to the business.
