Rowad Modern Engineering is seeking a procurement professional in Abu Dhabi to manage end-to-end purchasing activities. You will review PRs, coordinate with the warehouse, and identify reliable suppliers to meet inventory needs while ensuring quality and timely delivery.

The role requires 3–5 years of relevant experience and an engineering or business administration background, with UAE experience mandatory. A strong focus on negotiation and cross-functional collaboration will be essential.

Qualificações

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering or Business Administration.
• 3–5 years of experience in the same field.
• UAE experience is a must.

Responsabilidades

• Review Purchase Requests (PRs) and allocate requested items from warehouse inventory.
• Maintain communication with warehouse to ensure items are excluded from future PO requests.
• Survey and identify potential market suppliers for unavailable items and bulk orders.
• Contact suppliers to obtain price quotations and negotiate prices for PRs.
• Evaluate suppliers on quality, price, payment terms and delivery time to ensure cost-effective procurement.
• Prepare and process Purchase Orders (POs) in a timely manner and resolve issues.
• Daily follow-ups on PRs and POs to ensure timely processing.
• Liaise with engineers to obtain precise specifications for items.
• Communicate with suppliers to obtain new price lists and stay updated on market prices.
• Coordinate with logistics to arrange transportation from suppliers to warehouses/sites.
• Follow up on receipt and delivery of materials.
• Request certificates of compliance from suppliers when needed.
