Job summary

EDGE in Abu Dhabi seeks a PMO Project Manager to drive strategic initiatives within the Directed Energy portfolio. You will ensure governance, standardized processes, and timely delivery across projects, balancing scope, cost, and schedule while aligning with EDGE’s long-term goals.

You will collaborate with end users and suppliers, monitor KPIs, and manage contract governance, ensuring compliant reporting and risk control throughout the project lifecycle.

Qualifications

• 7+ years in defense industry or similarly regulated sector, with agile or hybrid development experience.
• 5+ years of hands-on project management in a structured PMO environment.
• Bachelor’s or Master’s in Engineering or technical field; PMP or INCOSE preferred.

Responsibilities

• Maintain project controls and track KPIs like schedule variance and quality.
• Ensure vendor SLAs, SOWs, and contracts align with goals and budgets.
• Monitor vendor performance, timelines, and quality thresholds.
• Control scope creep; document approvals for contract amendments.
• Prepare progress reports for steering committees and leadership.
• Manage budgets, forecast costs, and assess monetary risks.
• Lead full project lifecycle from charter to closure and lessons learned.
• Coordinate FAT/SAT, TRR, and related tests with stakeholders.
• Collaborate with end users and suppliers; track installation status.
