Job summary

EDGE is seeking a Specialist – PMO (Integration, Engineering & management Background) based in Abu Dhabi. This hybrid role supports project governance, coordinates matrixed engineering teams, and safeguards budgets and timelines while engaging with project leaders and external contractors.

The successful candidate will apply extensive PMO experience in defense, manage technical scopes, and drive delivery across complex programs with a focus on compliance and efficiency.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Aerospace, Electrical, Mechanical, Systems, or Software Engineering.
• 6+ years of experience in the defense industry.
• 5+ years of experience in PMO.
• Strong knowledge of system installation in A/C.
• Strong supplier relationships, analytical, communication, and stakeholder management skills.

Responsibilities

• Execute high-impact technical and administrative tasks assigned by project leadership, including feasibility analyses, technical documentation, change order reviews, and risk registers.
• Review engineering designs, feasibility studies, and technical specifications to ensure alignment with organizational goals and international compliance standards.
• Strategically allocate engineering talent, equipment, and capital across competing projects to eliminate bottlenecks.
• Collaborate closely with Project Managers to define project scope, technical requirements, and milestone criteria, ensuring seamless alignment between PMO governance and ground-level engineering execution.
• Act as a key technical coordinator between Project Managers, engineering disciplines, and external contractors to streamline communication and accelerate problem-solving.
• Monitor and report on the progress of assigned action items, utilizing PMO tools to maintain absolute transparency on task status, resource constraints, and potential blockers.
• Collaborate with end users and internal stakeholders to understand technical requirements and specifications; maintain regular meetings with suppliers and track installation status.
• Ensure all PMO reporting data complies with corporate and state security regulations.
