Job summary

AffirmedRx is seeking a seasoned Project Manager to lead client implementation projects across healthcare PBM programs. You will partner with Clinical, Eligibility and Benefits teams and external vendors to deliver detailed action plans with fixed timelines and risk assessments.

You will establish strong client relationships from day one, drive cross-functional initiatives, manage risks, and communicate status to executives, ensuring milestones are met and lessons learned inform process

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in business, project management, or related field.
• 5+ years of experience in project management.
• Healthcare experience specifically in Pharmacy Benefit Management (PBM).
• Experience in client interaction.
• Strong meeting facilitation and time management skills.
• Ability to work on strategic cross-functional projects.
• Willingness to travel 25%.

Responsibilities

• Lead and drive client implementation projects.
• Partner with internal Clinical, Eligibility and Benefits teams and external vendors.
• Create detailed action plans with fixed timelines and risk evaluations.
• Develop implementation project plans and track progress via weekly update calls.
• Establish client relationships and ensure satisfaction from day one.
• Assess risks and establish contingency plans.
• Communicate project status clearly to stakeholders and executive levels.
• Drive project teams to milestones to deliver high quality outcomes.
• Conduct "lessons learned" and feedback meetings post-implementation to improve processes.
