Job summary

Tanqeeb, UAE-based events company, seeks a Head of Projects - Events to lead planning, governance, and delivery of client and internal projects across a portfolio of large-scale events and experiences.

You will lead a team of Project Managers and Project Executives, ensuring projects meet high standards of quality, creativity, operational excellence, budgets, and timelines while maximizing client satisfaction.

Qualifications

• 10+ years of experience in project management with leadership responsibilities.
• Experience in events, experiential, entertainment, tourism, hospitality or similar environments.
• Proven track record delivering complex, high-value or large-scale projects.
• Strong communication, negotiation and problem-solving skills.
• Experience establishing project governance, systems and processes.
• UAE or GCC experience highly preferred.

Responsibilities

• Lead planning and delivery of multiple large-scale events from concept to execution.
• Oversee scope, timelines, budgets, resources, risks and delivery performance.
• Mentor and develop a team of Project Managers and project professionals.
• Establish governance, SOPs and reporting standards.
• Work with senior leadership, clients and internal teams to ensure successful outcomes.
• Drive continuous improvement and stakeholder relationships through the project lifecycle.
