Job summary

Calvin James Recruitment is seeking an experienced Learning & Development Specialist to join our Abu Dhabi team. You will design, deliver and continuously improve learning initiatives across the organization, collaborating with HR and business leaders to identify development needs and build capability.

You will manage end-to-end training delivery, coordinate with external providers, and support career development and competency frameworks to drive performance and talent growth.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in HR, L&D, or related field.
• 4–7 years in Learning & Development within a medium to large organization.
• Experience in training needs analysis, programme design, and evaluation.
• Strong stakeholder management with senior leaders and business partners.
• Excellent project management and multitasking abilities.
• Experience working with external training providers.
• Understanding of talent management, competency development and career development principles.

Responsibilities

• Develop and implement learning and development programmes aligned with business objectives.
• Conduct training needs analysis with HR and business leaders to identify gaps.
• Design and coordinate leadership development, technical training, soft skills, and employee development programmes.
• Oversee end-to-end delivery of training from planning to evaluation.
• Coordinate with internal stakeholders and external providers to source learning solutions.
• Maintain annual learning plans and training calendars.
• Support career development and succession planning initiatives.
• Assist with competency frameworks and individual development plans.
• Monitor participation and effectiveness with regular reporting.
