Job summary

Liwa Trading Enterprises seeks an experienced Learning and Development Manager to lead Performance Management, Learning and Development, Succession Planning initiatives and HR policy management. The role shapes a high‑performing culture through innovative learning solutions and strong organizational capability building.

You will manage L&D strategies, drive change initiatives, and align people plans with business objectives while guiding executives and stakeholders across the organization.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in HR, business administration, organizational psychology or related field.
• 8–10 years of progressive HR experience with L&D, organizational development and performance management.
• Proven track record designing and implementing L&D strategies, competency frameworks and succession programs.
• Strong background in organizational design, change management and culture transformation.
• Experience conducting TNA and delivering behavioural and leadership training.

Responsibilities

• Define and implement L&D strategies, plans and policies aligned with the strategic plan.
• Maintain budgets and relationships with vendors and consultants; track budgets and contracts.
• Assess success of development plans and guide employees in learning opportunities.
• Lead performance management strategy and KPI framework development.
• Design and facilitate change management programs to support organizational change.
• Develop and implement company succession planning and communicate to senior management.
• Provide strategic oversight of HR policies and procedures; review and update documents periodically.
• Lead and coach the team; set goals, delegate tasks and monitor performance.
