Job summary

Engineering Unit General Contracting in Abu Dhabi is seeking a results-driven Business Development professional to identify opportunities in construction infrastructure and commercial sectors, build strong client relationships, and drive revenue growth.

You will coordinate with estimation, engineering, procurement and project teams to prepare competitive bids, monitor tender opportunities, negotiate terms, and represent the company at exhibitions, conferences and networking events.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Marketing, Civil Engineering, Construction Management, or related field.
• Minimum 3 years of business development or sales experience in the construction industry.
• Proven track record of achieving sales targets and securing construction projects.
• Strong understanding of construction contracts, tendering processes, and project life cycles.
• Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills.

Responsibilities

• Identify and pursue new business opportunities within the construction infrastructure and commercial sectors.
• Develop and maintain strong relationships with clients consultants contractors developers and government entities.
• Generate leads through networking market research referrals and industry events.
• Prepare and present company profiles proposals quotations and business presentations.
• Coordinate with estimation engineering procurement and project teams to prepare competitive bids and proposals.
• Monitor tender opportunities and support the bidding process.
• Negotiate commercial terms and assist in contract finalization.
• Conduct market analysis to identify industry trends competitors and emerging opportunities.
• Maintain an updated CRM database of clients prospects and business activities.
• Achieve monthly quarterly and annual sales targets.
• Prepare regular sales reports forecasts and business development updates for management.
• Represent the company at exhibitions conferences and networking events.
