Job summary

Schneider Electric is seeking a Tendering Engineer in Dubai to lead the proposal and tender process for complex high-value engineering projects. You will coordinate bids across Delivery, Supply Chain, Finance and Legal, and work with External Sales Managers to deliver costed solutions.

The role requires an instrumentation engineering background, strong commercial awareness, and proficiency in MS Excel/Word. On-site UAE office with cross-functional collaboration.

• Knowledge of contractual terms and conditions.
• Good awareness of product features/limitations.
• Aware of Quality and Environmental Systems and their requirements.

Responsibilities

• Develop an order winning strategy with the Company Management Team.
• Coordinate bidding activities with all involved teams.
• Review and manage the customer enquiry process into a costed workable solution.
• Submit detailed responses to enquiry documentation and expedite clarifications.
• Develop optimized costing as part of the quotation process.
• Act as internal contact point for the customer during enquiry and bidding.
• Develop, negotiate and confirm contract specifications with external groups.
• Keep a prioritized task list and file the quote and cost file in the network.
