Job summary

Schneider Electric is seeking a senior Procurement Manager to lead sourcing for large and complex tenders across the UAE. You will coordinate with regional teams to secure best suppliers and drive cost-competitive, risk-aware solutions for project delivery.

The role requires extensive experience in purchasing, strong negotiation and contract-management skills, and the ability to operate in a multicultural environment. Fluent English is essential, with Arabic or French as a plus.

Qualifications

• University degree in supply chain, engineering or commerce.
• Master's degree is a plus.
• Fluent in English; Arabic and French are a plus.
• 10+ years in purchasing / procurement in EPC or large projects.
• Strong analytical, communication, negotiation, and contract management skills.
• Ability to work under pressure in multicultural teams.

Responsibilities

• Develop staff skills in procurement for large tenders within regional delivery.
• Secure robust costing inputs with transparent risk profiles during tendering.
• Lead procurement governance across tender gates and supplier qualification.
• Coordinate with Country Procurement Leader to build pooled solution purchasing.
• Manage procurement for tenders from RFQ to contract management and value engineering.
• Drive cost competitiveness and risk management throughout execution.
