Job summary

Ramboll Dubai seeks an experienced Bid Manager to lead end-to-end bidding for data centre engineering consultancy and design projects. You will coordinate with Mechanical, Electrical, Public Health, and other disciplines to craft competitive proposals.

You will review RFPs, develop bid strategies, and manage commercial inputs, risk assessments, and schedules in collaboration with finance and senior leadership.

Qualifications

• Bachelor degree in Engineering; PM/commercial mgmt qualification a plus.
• 8–12 years in bidding/tendering or business development in engineering consultancy, infra, buildings or data centre projects.
• Experience managing multidisciplinary proposals and large-scale projects.
• Knowledge of data centre design, mission-critical facilities and MEP systems.
• Strong technical and commercial proposal preparation, fee estimation and tender compliance.

Responsibilities

• Lead end-to-end bidding and tendering for data centre projects.
• Review RFPs/ RFQs/ ITTs and understand client requirements, scope and timelines.
• Coordinate with Mechanical, Electrical, Public Health, Fire Protection, ELV/IBMS and other disciplines.
• Prepare bid strategies, compliance matrices, schedules and responsibility matrices.
• Coordinate technical inputs, methodologies, resource plans and deliverables.
• Work with business development and senior management on bid strategies.
• Coordinate commercial proposals, fee estimates, pricing schedules and risk assessments.
• Ensure compliance with client requirements, internal standards and approval processes.
• Manage clarifications, tender queries and client communications.
• Identify bid risks and commercial exposures and escalate as needed.
• Maintain central repository of proposals and feedback.
