Confidential in the United Arab Emirates seeks a seasoned Business Development Manager to drive growth in customs, duty, bonded warehousing and integrated logistics solutions. This is a commercial role focused on building and converting opportunities across ports and supply chains.

The ideal candidate combines strong sales and business development capabilities with practical UAE customs knowledge, excellent negotiation skills, and a robust network within the UAE logistics sector.

Qualifications

• Minimum 7 years of experience in business development, commercial, customs, freight forwarding, logistics or supply chain.
• Strong practical knowledge of UAE Customs and Duty regulations, including import/export/re-export processes.
• Proven track record of developing new business, acquiring customers and generating revenue.
• Experience in FMCG, automotive/RoRo, freight forwarding, 3PL, shipping, ports or bonded logistics.
• Strong written and spoken English; Arabic would be an advantage.

Responsibilities

• Identify and secure new business opportunities across ports, logistics, warehousing, customs-related services and regional distribution.
• Develop and maintain a strong customer pipeline across FMCG, automotive/RoRo, freight forwarding, 3PL and import/export sectors.
• Build relationships with importers, exporters, distributors, shipping lines and logistics providers.
• Develop commercially attractive solutions involving customs clearance, duty management, bonded warehousing, storage and onward distribution.
• Prepare commercial proposals, pricing models and business cases, and negotiate customer contracts.
• Identify opportunities to develop new logistics products, revenue streams and strategic partnerships.
• Work closely with internal stakeholders to ensure commercially viable and compliant customer solutions.
