Job summary

The Petshop LLC is seeking a Store In-Charge to lead day-to-day store operations, drive sales, and ensure excellent customer experiences in a fast-paced environment. You will oversee SOPs, HSSE compliance, inventory, merchandising, and POS activities while guiding a team to meet targets.

Ideal candidates bring 4+ years in retail leadership, strong people skills, and a solid product knowledge base. This role emphasizes ownership, stakeholder coordination, and a customer-first mindset.

Qualifications

• Minimum 4+ years of experience in a similar retail role.
• Strong expertise in SOPs, HSSE, store cleanliness, inventory control, visual merchandising, POS operations and cash management.
• Proven ability to drive sales, meet targets, and manage KPIs.
• Excellent people management, leadership, reporting and escalation skills.
• Proven customer service excellence and product knowledge across categories.
• Ownership mindset and stakeholder management abilities.
• Proficiency in MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).

Responsibilities

• Oversee daily store operations per SOPs and HSSE standards.
• Maintain store cleanliness, merchandising displays and inventory accuracy.
• Manage POS activities including cash handling and reconciliation.
• Drive sales to hit monthly targets and KPIs.
• Lead, motivate, and develop store staff; manage schedules.
• Prepare reports, escalate issues, and communicate with stakeholders.
• Deliver excellent customer service and handle complaints, boosting NPS.
• Maintain deep knowledge of products to advise customers and maximize sales.
