Job summary

Hirestar Talent Consulting LLC is seeking a Store Manager for a Hypermarket Group in the UAE. You will oversee daily operations across multiple departments, drive sales, inventory control, and staff performance to meet profitability targets.

Reporting to the Area Manager, you will ensure compliance with UAE health, safety, HACCP, and municipal standards while delivering excellent customer service and robust loss prevention.

Qualifications

• Proven experience as a Store Manager in hypermarket/supermarket settings in GCC.
• Strong knowledge of retail operations, inventory control and team management.
• Good understanding of UAE retail standards, food safety, and compliance.
• Strong leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills.

Responsibilities

• Manage daily operations across grocery, fresh food, bakery, non-food, electrical and cashier departments.
• Achieve store sales profitability and customer satisfaction targets.
• Monitor inventory, stock availability, FIFO/FEFO, shrinkage and wastage control.
• Manage staff scheduling, training, performance and department supervision.
• Ensure excellent customer service and resolve escalated complaints.
• Maintain UAE health, safety, food safety, HACCP and municipality compliance.
• Oversee loss prevention, security, CCTV and asset protection.
• Ensure visual merchandising, planograms, pricing and store presentation standards.
• Manage cash reconciliation, expenses, vendor coordination and store reports.
• Prepare daily/weekly/monthly performance reports for the Area Manager.
