Job summary

GMG is seeking an experienced Store Manager to lead daily operations in a fast-paced Dubai retail environment. You will drive sales, ensure food safety, manage stock and deliveries, and coach a motivated team to deliver outstanding customer experience.

The role requires strong leadership, excellent communication, and a focus on cost control and compliance with local regulations. You will collaborate with merchandising and marketing teams to achieve store targets and brand standards.

Responsibilities

• Manage all day-to-day operations of the store, ensuring efficiency, smooth workflow, and adherence to standards.
• Monitor daily store operations, ensuring smooth workflows and adherence to standards.
• Enforce health, safety, and hygiene standards in compliance with local regulations.
• Monitor and drive sales performance to achieve or exceed targets.
• Maintain optimal stock levels, reduce shrinkage and control waste.
• Oversee inventory management, including managing deliveries, stock replenishment, and cycle counts.
• Ensure excellent customer service, build long-term relationships, and handle any complaints or queries effectively.
• Implement promotion, merchandising plans, and seasonal campaigns.
• Plan and execute promotional campaigns and in-store events. Monitor budgets, control expenses, and resource allocation effectively.
• Develop and execute strategies to achieve sales and profitability targets and enhance customer experience.
• Develop, train and motivate the team to achieve individual and collective success.
• Conduct performance reviews and manage scheduling to ensure adequate staffing.
• Foster a positive and productive team environment.
• Streamline processes and ensure compliance with all company policies, procedures, and legal requirements.
• Analyze sales data and implement action plans to address under-performing areas.
• Prepare and present regular report on store performance including sales, operations, and staff performance to senior management.
• Work closely with corporate teams such as merchandising, marketing, people, etc.. to align store goals with organizational objectives.
