Job summary

GMG Dubai is seeking an experienced Store Manager to lead daily store operations, drive sales, maintain visual merchandising, and deliver exceptional customer service. You will motivate and retain the store team while coaching staff to meet GMG standards.

Responsibilities include managing POS activities, inventory, stock counts, and loss prevention; analyzing sales data to maximize profitability; coordinating with facilities for maintenance; and ensuring staff rosters cover peak periods while

Qualifications

• 5-7 years of relevant industry experience with at least 3 years in a similar supervisory role in retail operations.
• Bachelor’s degree in any discipline.
• Product/Category knowledge.
• Arabic skills would be an added advantage.

Responsibilities

• Communicates store targets to the team and drives sales to achieve financial objectives.
• Maintains proper loss prevention standards and ensures compliance with cash handling, fraud and theft of products.
• Oversees POS activities: sales transactions, orders, payments, refunds, and inventory updates.
• Oversees cash transaction entry and management (petty cash, POS cash elements, float).
• Audits store administration, conducts stock counts and spot checks.
• Handles customer complaints and responds to feedback promptly.
• Analyzes brand sales performance and market trends to boost sales and profitability.
• Monitors sales reports and provides insights to maximize stock potential.
• Maintains window and in-store displays to merchandising guidelines.
• Oversees inventory management, stock movement, aging and space management.
• Coordinates with facilities for repairs or replacements of furniture/equipment.
• Maintains staffing levels and prepares schedules to ensure coverage.
• Plans for seasonal peaks and promotional events in forecasts and rosters.
• Ensures the team is trained in inventory management techniques.
