Qualifications

Job description

• Oversee the daily operations of the stewarding department ensuring that all cleaning and maintenance tasks are executed efficiently and effectively.
• Implement and maintain high standards of hygiene and sanitation in all kitchen areas aligning with health regulations and company policies.
• Train and mentor stewarding staff fostering a culture of teamwork, accountability and continuous improvement.
• Coordinate the inventory management of cleaning supplies and equipment ensuring that all necessary items are adequately stocked and available.
• Minimum high school diploma or equivalent; a degree in hospitality management is preferred.
• 3-5 years of experience in stewarding or kitchen operations, with at least 1 year in a supervisory role.
• Certification in food safety and sanitation, demonstrating knowledge of industry standards and regulations.
• Experience in high-volume food service environments, showcasing ability to manage stress and maintain quality.
