Job summary

Wynn Al Marjan Island in Ras Al Khaimah is seeking a Steward - Main Kitchen to join the Kitchen Stewards team. Clean, sanitize, store crockery, keep kitchen areas tidy, and support daily operations.

No prior experience required; however, 1 year in a 5-star hotel or integrated resort is preferred. Fluent English is essential; physically fit and able to work shifts. We offer competitive pay in Dirhams, leave policy, healthcare, and other benefits.

Qualifications

• Secondary school completion required.
• 1 year in a 5-star hotel or integrated resort preferred.
• Knowledge of handling and storage of cleaning chemicals.
• Positive attitude and strong work ethic.
• Physically fit and able to clean high areas and lift heavy items.
• Good interpersonal skills.
• Team player in a high-pressure environment.
• Flexible with shifts based on business needs.
• Fluent in English; additional languages a plus.

Responsibilities

• Clean, sanitize, and store crockery, glassware, utensils, and kitchen equipment.
• Maintain cleanliness of kitchen work areas, including ovens, stovetops, floors, and ceilings.
• Handle, use, and store cleaning chemicals safely and according to procedures.
• Collect, remove, and dispose of kitchen waste per hygiene standards.
• Follow instructions from Stewarding Team Leaders and Supervisors; support daily operations.
• Build positive working relationships and communicate professionally with colleagues, management, and contractors.
• Comply with company policies, Code of Conduct, grooming standards and departmental procedures.
• Adhere to health, safety, and recycling practices to promote a clean, safe workplace.
