InterContinental Ras Al Khaimah Mina Al Arab Resort & Spa is seeking a Kitchen Steward to maintain a clean, safe back-of-house area and support the Employee Restaurant. The role involves cleaning, sanitation, equipment prep, and assisting the culinary team as needed.

The candidate should have basic education, physical stamina, a commitment to hygiene, and flexibility to work varied shifts in a luxury resort environment in Ras Al Khaimah.

Qualifications

• Primary or high school education or equivalent relevant experience.
• Ability to lift up to 23 kg (50 lbs) and perform physically demanding tasks.
• Experience in stewarding, cleaning or kitchen roles is advantageous.
• Strong understanding of cleanliness and personal hygiene.
• Willingness to work flexible shifts, including weekends/holidays.
• Team-focused attitude and reliability.

Responsibilities

• Clean and sanitise kitchen equipment, utensils and work areas.
• Keep Employee Restaurant kitchen and surrounding areas clean and hygienic.
• Prepare kitchen equipment for daily use and store properly.
• Maintain clean and organised storage areas and handle waste safely.
• Assist the culinary team during busy meal periods and report any issues.
