Job summary

Dr Nutrition UAE is seeking a proactive Steward to support our Dubai team. You will clean and set tables, place seasonal decorations, greet guests, seat them promptly, and assist with delivering beverages as needed.

You will stock service stations, present menus, assist wait staff, clear and reset tables, and help with opening/closing duties. A keen eye for cleanliness and teamwork is essential to delivering a smooth dining experience.

Qualifications

• Experience in hospitality or restaurant service preferred.
• Ability to clear tables and prepare them for the next customers.
• Good cleaning and organization skills.

Responsibilities

• Clean and set tables and arrange decorations and tablecloths.
• Greet customers, seat them, and serve water or beverages.
• Present menus and assist wait staff with service.
• Stock serving stations with napkins, utensils, and condiments.
• Clear and reset tables for new customers.
• Assist with cleaning, opening and closing tasks.
• Wash dishes and clean kitchen and equipment.
• Help with sweeping, mopping, and polishing areas.
• Transport used linen to laundry or housekeeping.
• Assist unloading and storing stock.

Duties:

• Cleaning and setting tables and placing seasonal decorations, candles, and tablecloths.
• Welcoming customers, seating them, serving them water or refilling their glasses, and delivering beverages from the bartender.
• Keeping menus clean and presenting them to customers.
• Stocking wait staff serving stations with napkins, utensils, trays, and condiments and assisting the wait staff with all aspects of service.
• Clearing tables and preparing them for the next customers.
• Assisting in cleaning and opening or closing tasks.
• Scraping food from dirty dishes, pots, pans, plates, flatware, and glasses, washing dirty dishes, and putting them away.
• Assisting with sweeping, mopping, and polishing the restaurant, bar, kitchen, and equipment.
• Transporting used linen to or from the laundry or housekeeping section.
• Assisting with unloading and storing stock.
