Job summary

DAIKAN in Abu Dhabi is seeking a kitchen assistant to support daily food preparation and service. You will maintain cleanliness, manage dishwashing, and ensure utensils are available when needed.

This role requires the ability to work in a fast-paced environment, strong attention to sanitation, and good teamwork to help the kitchen run smoothly.

Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Maintain cleanliness and organization of kitchen work areas and equipment.

• Handle waste disposal and recycling to meet standards.
• Collaborate with team to maintain hygiene and sanitation.

Previous experience in a similar role in the hospitality industry is preferred but not mandatory. Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and handle multiple tasks efficiently. Strong attention to detail and commitment to maintaining high sanitation standards. Basic knowledge of kitchen operations and culinary safety guidelines. Good physical condition to handle long hours on your feet and lifting heavy items when necessary. Exceptional communication and teamwork skills.
