Job summary

Careers International is seeking a Planning Engineer to develop and maintain detailed schedules for steel fabrication, manufacturing and construction projects. You will collaborate with project managers, production and procurement teams to ensure on-time delivery within budget.

The role requires 3-5 years in project planning in steel or heavy manufacturing, strong knowledge of Primavera P6 or MS Project, and a solid grasp of critical path analysis. Dubai-based role with standard benefits.

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Civil or Mechanical Engineering.
3–5 years of experience in project planning within steel, construction, or heavy manufacturing.
Experience with Primavera P6 or MS Project and related planning tools.

Responsibilities

Develop, maintain, and update comprehensive project schedules for steel fabrication and construction projects.
Coordinate with design, procurement, and production teams to ensure accurate milestones.
Track progress, forecast delays, and implement recovery plans to keep projects on track.
Monitor costs against budgets and provide schedule-based progress reports to management.
Identify risks, manage critical path, and liaise with stakeholders to ensure timely delivery.
