Dashco Middle East seeks a Planning Engineer for structural steel building projects in Dubai. The role focuses on developing and managing schedules across civil works and steel construction, monitoring progress, and forecasting resources to support project teams with timely reporting.

The candidate will drive baseline schedules, critical paths, recovery plans, and TIA analyses, coordinating with fabrication and erection milestones to mitigate delays and optimize project performance.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in civil engineering or related discipline with 6+ years in planning and scheduling.
• Strong Primavera P6 expertise and civil/structural steel project exposure.

Responsibilities

• Develop baseline and detailed construction schedules using Primavera P6.
• Prepare WBS milestones, critical paths and activity sequences.
• Develop procurement, fabrication and construction schedules.
• Monitor actual progress against approved baselines and report.
• Conduct delay analyses and prepare Time Impact Analyses (TIA).
• Support EOT delay and disruption claims and recovery/acceleration plans.
• Prepare daily, weekly and monthly progress and management reports.

We are currently seeking to hire for the role of Planning Engineer for structural steel building projects. Position: Planning Engineer - Steel Building Construction. Location: Dubai, UAE. Employment Type: Full Time. We are hiring a Planning Engineer with strong experience in construction planning and project controls, particularly across civil works and structural steel building projects. The role will be responsible for developing and managing project schedules, monitoring progress, identifying delays, forecasting resources, and supporting project teams with timely planning and reporting.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop baseline and detailed construction schedules using Primavera P6
• Prepare WBS milestones critical paths and activity sequences
• Develop procurement fabrication and construction schedules
• Monitor actual progress against approved baseline schedules
• Conduct site visits and verify reported progress
• Track critical and near critical activities and identify schedule risks
• Plan and monitor structural steel detailing fabrication delivery and erection
• Coordinate fabrication and erection schedules with project milestones
• Prepare manpower histograms and resource loaded schedules
• Forecast manpower equipment and material requirements
• Conduct delay analysis and prepare Time Impact Analyses TIA
• Support EOT delay and disruption claims
• Develop recovery and acceleration programs when required
• Prepare daily weekly and monthly progress reports
• Develop S Curves productivity reports dashboards and management reports
• Maintain planning records schedule revisions delay logs and project documentation
• Support project closeout handover and as built schedules

Requirements
