Job summary

Rixos Al Mairid in Dubai is seeking a skilled Technician, Employee Accommodation to ensure all staff housing systems operate safely. You will perform routine maintenance across electrical, plumbing, HVAC, and carpentry, respond to repairs, and support facility improvements under the supervision of the Employee Accommodation team.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent; tech certs preferred.
• Experience as a maintenance technician in hospitality or residential settings.
• Ability to perform electrical, plumbing, HVAC and carpentry repairs.
• Strong problem-solving and multitasking skills; safety-conscious.

Responsibilities

• Perform preventive maintenance and repairs on electrical systems, plumbing, HVAC, and fixtures in staff accommodation.
• Inspect rooms and common areas to identify maintenance issues.
• Respond to maintenance requests and emergencies promptly to minimize disruption.
• Keep logs of maintenance tasks and servicing for tracking and reporting.
• Manage inventory of tools, spare parts, and materials.
• Ensure work complies with health, safety and building regulations.
• Coordinate with Supervisor and other departments for maintenance activities.
• Report major issues to Supervisor or external service providers.
• Maintain a clean and safe work environment in maintenance areas.
• Assist during staff moves and accommodation upgrades.
