Job summary

Accor Dubai is seeking a General Maintenance Technician for Hotel Engineering to support electrical, plumbing, HVAC, and general building repairs across hotel facilities. This role helps ensure guest comfort, equipment reliability, and safe day-to-day operation in guest rooms, public spaces, kitchens, and staff areas.

You will perform routine inspections, preventive maintenance, minor repairs, and coordinate with external contractors when needed.

Qualifications

• Experience in hotel maintenance or facilities engineering is preferred.
• Solid knowledge of electrical, plumbing, HVAC and mechanical systems.
• Ability to perform preventive maintenance and basic repairs safely and efficiently.

Responsibilities

• Carry out daily maintenance, inspection, and repair work across assigned hotel areas.
• Inspect electrical, plumbing, HVAC, mechanical, and general building systems for defects or abnormal operation.
• Respond promptly to maintenance requests raised by guests and hotel departments.
• Diagnose basic technical faults and determine the appropriate corrective action.
• Repair lighting faults, electrical sockets, switches, and other basic electrical components.
• Perform minor plumbing repairs involving leaks, taps, toilets, drainage, and fixtures.
• Assist with routine air-conditioning and ventilation maintenance.
• Coordinate with external contractors for more advanced interventions.
• Maintain accurate records of work orders, inspections, and completed repairs.
